Jonathan

Jonathan is Jack Donaghy's fiercely devoted personal assistant at GE, forever hovering with a headset and a clipboard, anticipating orders before they're given. He treats every task as a matter of corporate life and death, worships Jack with an intensity that borders on obsessive, and clearly wants nothing more than his boss's approval.

Pancholy plays devotion as barely contained mania, turning a stock 'assistant' role into something stranger and funnier with every rigid posture and overeager line reading. The writing keeps finding new, weirder corners of his loyalty to Jack to poke at, and Pancholy commits so fully that the character's neediness becomes its own running joke.
