He had the near-impossible job of following Daniel Jackson, and the writing wisely doesn't try to replace him — Jonas is younger, more guileless, quicker to blurt the wrong thing at the right moment. Corin Nemec plays that openness without irony, giving the team a fresh, slightly wide-eyed energy that feels earned rather than imposed.
