Johnny "Sack" Sacrimoni

Johnny Sack runs the New York family with a fastidious pride that sits oddly against the crude world he operates in — soft-spoken, sharply dressed, sensitive to slights about his weight or his wife. He wants respect above all, and reacts to insult with a wounded formality that can tip fast into deadly resolve.

Curatola plays him as almost genteel, a man who prizes decorum in an indecorous business, which makes his flashes of vanity and temper land harder. The show uses him to needle Tony's own insecurities by mirror, and Curatola gives him a quiet, courtly menace that never needs to raise its voice.
