Jogo

Jogo is a curse with a volcano for a head, all molten rock and smoldering menace, who speaks with the calm certainty of someone who has already won the argument. He believes curses are destined to surpass humanity, and he wants to provoke sorcerers into proving him right, delighting in every eruption of chaos he causes.

Shigeru Chiba gives Jogo a rumbling, unhurried voice that turns provocation into something almost seductive, a villain who taunts through philosophy rather than screaming. The design does half the work, a walking disaster daring you to underestimate him, but it's the calm, professorial menace in the delivery that makes his fights feel like arguments he's already won.
