Joey Mousepad turns up on the fringes of Futurama's world as one of the show's many quick, gruff bit players — a small-time operator with a tough-guy voice and a name that promises trouble. He talks fast, acts like he's got an angle, and disappears into the background noise of New New York almost as soon as he arrives.

John DiMaggio can make a single scene sing with nothing but a growl and a wisecrack, and Joey Mousepad is a fine example of his gift for instant, fully-formed side characters. The name alone is a joke; the voice sells it. It's a small pleasure, but a genuine one.
