Jocelyn Schitt

Jocelyn is Roland Schitt's wife and a fixture of the town the Roses have landed in, unfailingly friendly, a little oblivious, and utterly at home in Schitt's Creek's small-town rhythms. She greets the newcomers with open warmth, no irony, and a chatty eagerness to be liked that never seems to notice how out of place they feel.

Jennifer Robertson plays sincerity so pure it becomes funny on its own, letting Jocelyn's niceness sit next to the show's sharper characters without ever curdling into a joke at her expense. The writing could easily flatten her into a punchline; instead she's given genuine decency, and Robertson makes that decency the show's quiet, steady comic engine.
