Jia-yi / Switch

Jia-yi, known as Switch, is a quiet young mutant recruited into Division 3's strange orbit around David Haller. She keeps to herself, watchful and a little detached, as though she's only half in the room. Her power lets her trade places with her own past — a gift she treats less like a weapon than a private, careful trick.

Lauren Tsai plays her with a stillness that suits Legion's woozy, dreamlike logic — she barely raises her voice and still feels like the most controlled person on screen. The show hands her a power that's really a metaphor for time and regret, and Tsai lets that idea breathe instead of explaining it, which makes Switch feel genuinely strange rather than just plot-convenient.
