Jerry

Jerry is a broad-shouldered warrior in King Ezekiel's Kingdom, swinging an oversized axe against walkers with startling ease. He serves as the king's loyal bodyguard, standing watch beside the throne without a trace of pomp. Cheerful, unbothered, and quick to smile even mid-battle, he treats the apocalypse like something he can simply outlast with good humor.

The show is drowning in grief and grit, and Jerry is the deliberate exception: a big, genial guy who never loses his cool no matter how many corpses pile up around him. Cooper Andrews plays that calm as competence rather than comic relief alone, so the laughs land without undercutting how dangerous he actually is.
