Jeff Greene is Larry's agent and closest friend, a rumpled, indulgent man perpetually caught between his marriage to Susie and his loyalty to Larry's worst impulses. He's game for any scheme, physically unbothered by consequence, and treats deception as a reasonable first option rather than a last resort. Comfort matters more to him than principle.

Garlin plays him as pure appeasement — soft-spoken, quick to agree with whoever's in front of him, which makes him the perfect accomplice for Larry's disasters and the perfect target for Susie's fury. His lack of backbone isn't a flaw the show corrects; it's the engine of half its plots, and Garlin's genial delivery keeps him lovable anyway.
