Javi Elizondro arrives as Omar Navarro's nephew, a polished, ambitious operator sent to keep the cartel's American business running smoothly. He's educated, fluent in English, comfortable in boardrooms as much as back rooms, and clearly hungry for more authority than his uncle has given him — impatient with the Byrdes' caution and eager to prove himself.

Alfonso Herrera plays him with a cool, transactional charm that never quite hides the ambition underneath — you sense him constantly measuring the room, deciding who's useful and who's expendable. The writing uses him to sharpen the show's tension between old-world cartel loyalty and new-world corporate ruthlessness, and Herrera makes that friction feel personal rather than thematic.
