Jamie Hayward moves through the world of British intelligence with the unbothered calm of someone used to being underestimated. He surfaces at the edges of Carolyn Martens' orbit, professionally polished and careful with his words, giving little away about what he actually wants or whom he ultimately serves.

Danny Sapani plays him with a stillness that reads as competence rather than mystery, which makes the character quietly unsettling in a show built on people who are never quite what their job title suggests. He works because the performance withholds just enough to keep you watching his face instead of listening to his words.
