Jamie

Jamie is Lily Chan's boyfriend, an engineer at a rival tech firm who works in the shadow of Amaya's secretive campus. He's attentive and a little watchful, quick to worry when Lily pulls away, and eager to help her make sense of the mystery swallowing her workplace.

Jin Ha plays Jamie's devotion with just enough unease underneath it that you're never sure if he's a comfort or a complication. The show lets his ordinary anxieties about love and control sit right next to its cosmic questions, and Ha keeps him human-scaled inside a story that keeps threatening to swallow everyone whole.
