Jacob Vazquez

Jacob Vazquez is an ATF agent sent undercover into the Branch Davidian compound, posing as a recruit drawn to David Koresh's teachings. He watches, listens, and reports back, doing the quiet unglamorous work of infiltration while trying not to let the people around him become more than a case file.

Leguizamo plays the discomfort of the job rather than its intrigue—Vazquez is likable, watchful, and increasingly uneasy about the gap between what his superiors want to hear and what he's actually seeing. That tension, played with restraint instead of heroics, gives the show's procedural half its conscience.
