Jackson 'Jax' Teller

Jax Teller is vice president of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, a Charming, California gang running guns under the cover of an auto shop. Smart and restless in a way his brothers aren't, he's begun quietly reading his dead father's old writings, and they're making him question everything the club stands for.

Hunnam plays Jax as a man split down the middle: loyal to his club's brotherhood and violence, but visibly aching for something cleaner for his family. That tension, seeded in the very first episode through his father's manuscript, gives the show its moral engine and makes Jax far more than an outlaw with good hair.
