Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson is one of the many one-off faces that pass through Futurama's crowded future — a minor figure who turns up for a scene or two, does his bit of business, and moves on, more texture than throughline. He is defined less by ambition than by the moment he occupies.

The character barely registers on the page, which is exactly why John DiMaggio's voice work matters: he gives even a passing role a gravelly, lived-in specificity that makes the joke land. It's a small proof of how much personality a good voice actor can smuggle into a throwaway part.
