Izuku Midoriya

Izuku is a boy born without superpowers in a world where nearly everyone has them, yet he fills notebooks analyzing heroes he'll never join. Bullied and dismissed, he still runs toward danger without thinking, driven by a plain, stubborn wish to save people. His hero worship of All Might is total and unembarrassed.

The show risks a lot on a protagonist defined by inadequacy, and it pays off because Izuku's decency is active, not passive — he moves before he calculates. Daiki Yamashita plays him at full emotional volume, all cracking voice and wet eyes, so his effort never reads as noble restraint. You believe every scraped knuckle.
