Ivy Stuart

Ivy Stuart arrives at Downton Abbey as the new kitchen maid, young and a little wide-eyed at the grandeur below stairs. She's eager to please, easily flustered by Mrs. Patmore's temper, and quickly becomes the object of affection for both Alfred and Daisy, a triangle she navigates with more confusion than cunning.

Theobold plays Ivy's naivety without making her silly — there's a genuine sweetness to how she drifts through the servants' hall, oblivious to the quiet devastation she causes just by being pretty and kind. The show uses her as a mirror for Daisy's insecurities, and Theobold never lets Ivy become a villain for it.
