Iain Morris drifts through the world of Extras as one more actor scraping by on set, hovering at the edges of proper scenes while chasing the kind of break that never quite arrives. He is polite, hopeful, and slightly absurd in his self-regard, the way most background players in this show are.

Guy Henry has a gift for finding the strange dignity in people who take themselves far too seriously, and Extras is built to expose exactly that impulse. Even in a small role, he plays the gap between ambition and reality with a straight face that makes the joke land twice as hard.
