Hunter #1

Hunter #1 is exactly what the credits suggest: one half of a nameless pair of trigger-happy sportsmen dropped into a Futurama episode for a quick gag. He talks tough, carries a gun, and treats whatever oddball creature crosses his path as trophy material, with zero self-awareness about the absurdity around him.

The joke is entirely in the anonymity — a character introduced as a numbered type rather than a person, which is very Futurama. Billy West, already voicing half the main cast, slots in a blustery hunter-movie voice that makes the bit land fast and disappear, a small proof of how much comic mileage the show gets from its throwaway roles.
