He is exactly what the name promises: a background figure in the world of Futurama whose entire function is to stand there and absorb blows. He does not want anything in particular. He is a prop with a face, present for a joke rather than a plot.

The pleasure is entirely in the absurdity of the credit itself — a named character whose job description is his whole identity. Billy West, already doing half the show's voices, tosses off the part as a tiny piece of world-building silliness, the kind of throwaway detail that makes Futurama's universe feel dense and lived-in even at its silliest edges.
