Hugo Lombardi works in the design department at Ecomoda, and he treats every crisis, every rumor, every fitting as a matter of life and death. Theatrical, quick to gossip, easily wounded and just as easily delighted, he moves through the office like weather — impossible to ignore, and usually the first to know everyone's business before they do.

Julián Arango plays Hugo at full volume without ever making him a joke you laugh at instead of with. The writing gives him real feeling under the melodrama — vanity, loneliness, loyalty — and Arango's comic timing turns every tantrum into something oddly tender. He's the character you miss most between his scenes.
