Housewife of Sim City

She appears for barely a moment, a tiny simulated figure glimpsed on a screen inside one of Futurama's throwaway gags about virtual worlds. Rendered in blocky, dated graphics, she goes about some scripted domestic routine, oblivious to the audience watching her pixelated little life unfold from outside the game.

The joke isn't the character herself but the deadpan commitment to the bit: a fully voiced, fully imagined nobody existing only to prove how absurdly detailed the show's background world-building gets. Tress MacNeille gives her a flat, chirpy sitcom-mom cadence that makes the gag land in half a second and vanish.
