Horacio Carrillo

Horacio Carrillo is a captain in the Colombian National Police, sharp-suited and unyielding, pulled into the American-led hunt for Pablo Escobar. He works the intelligence side, methodical and proud, distrustful of shortcuts and of the DEA agents he's forced to partner with. He wants Escobar caught cleanly, by the book, in a country where the book keeps getting torn up.

Compte plays him with a coiled, watchful intensity that makes Carrillo the show's moral pressure gauge — you're always reading his face to see how much compromise a decent cop can absorb before something in him gives. The writing uses him to ask what justice costs in a war with no clean hands, and Compte never lets the strain look easy.
