Hippy #1 turns up as a background flourish rather than a fixture — a quick, groovy voice dropped into a crowd scene, all peace signs and loose vibes, existing mainly to color in whatever era or gathering the joke requires. There's no arc here, just a costume and an attitude, present for a beat before the scene moves on.

The pleasure is entirely in the economy: Tress MacNeille, one of animation's great utility players, tosses off a flower-child cadence so precisely tuned to cliché that it reads as a whole character in half a line. Futurama's throwaway bits often outshine its leads for a second, and this is one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it gems.
