Hick

Hick is a minor, broadly drawn figure who turns up for a quick joke rather than a plotline — a rural stereotype dropped into Futurama's science-fiction sprawl for a laugh, all twang and simple concerns, gone again almost as soon as he arrives.

The pleasure here is entirely Billy West's: another voice pulled out of an already enormous rotation, dropped in with total commitment for maybe a line or two. It is a small, disposable joke, but it lands because West never plays a throwaway character as less than fully real.
