Character

Henry Jennings

Henry Jennings in The Americans (2013), played by Keidrich Sellati.

Henry is the younger Jennings kid, more absorbed in video games and computers than in whatever tension is humming through his house. He's easygoing, a little overlooked next to his sister Paige, and utterly convinced his parents are exactly the travel-agent couple they appear to be.

His obliviousness is the show's cruelest joke and its quiet heart — every scene with Henry is shadowed by what he doesn't know. Keidrich Sellati plays him with unforced, ordinary-kid warmth, never winking at the audience, which makes his innocence feel real rather than a device.

Born in 1971 or 1972 (Elizabeth is pregnant with him in 1971) ("Covert War"), he is free-spirited and is known mostly for his obliviousness to his parent's strange behavior. He is unaware of his family's volatile secret.
