Henry Fraser

Henry is the teenage son of Grace and Jonathan Fraser, a well-mannered boy at an elite Manhattan private school, gifted on the cello and close to his mother. He moves through a gilded, orderly world of privilege, seemingly untouched by trouble, watching his parents with the quiet attentiveness of a child who notices more than he says.

Noah Jupe plays Henry with a stillness that reads as composure until you notice how carefully he's watching everyone. The writing keeps him just offstage of the adult drama, which makes his few unguarded moments land hard — a child absorbing pressure he can't name, rendered without a trace of precocious cuteness.
