Hedonismbot

Hedonismbot rolls into view already sated, an obese golden robot devoted entirely to pleasure—wine, food, music, indolence. He speaks in florid, self-satisfied pronouncements about his own indulgence, unbothered by shame or urgency. Whatever the scene requires of him, he requires only more excess, delivered with the unhurried grandeur of someone who has never once denied himself anything.

Maurice LaMarche gives him the plummy, theatrical baritone of a Shakespearean ham crossed with a wine commercial, and the gap between that grandiosity and his utter shallowness is the whole joke. He never needs more than a single scene—one gorgeous, gluttonous line—to justify his existence, which is itself a very Hedonismbot achievement.
