Headless Body of Agnew

A shambling, mindless torso stumbling through New New York, the Headless Body of Agnew is exactly what it sounds like: the body belonging to the disembodied head of former Vice President Spiro Agnew, wandering separately from its own cranium. It lurches about with dumb, aimless purpose, a background gag brought to life.

It's the purest kind of Futurama joke: a literalized tabloid headline turned into an actual walking punchline, dropped into frame with zero explanation and zero need for one. Maurice LaMarche's grunts give the body just enough dim physicality to make its pointless wandering funnier every time it reappears.
