Hair Robot

Hair Robot is exactly what the name promises: a robot sporting a thick, glossy head of human hair, gliding through the background of Futurama's world without ever needing to explain himself. He shows up wherever the show needs an aside, saying little, existing mainly as a sight gag with dignity intact.

The joke is total commitment to a single absurd premise and then total silence about it — nobody in New New York finds a robot with great hair remarkable, which is funnier than any punchline could be. Phil LaMarr gives him just enough deadpan presence that each brief appearance lands as its own small, perfect non sequitur.
