Haddie Braverman

Haddie is Adam and Kristina's teenage daughter, a bright, principled kid navigating high school in Berkeley while her family reorganizes itself around her younger brother Max's diagnosis. She's used to being the easy one, the good student, and she chafes as attention shifts elsewhere, testing independence through friends, boys, and her own opinions.

Sarah Ramos plays adolescence without caricature — Haddie's eye-rolls and door-slams read as real frustration, not sitcom sass, because the show lets her be genuinely torn between loyalty to her family and the ordinary hunger to be seen as her own person, separate from her brother's needs.
