Habitat Alien #2

Habitat Alien #2 is exactly what the credit implies: one of a pair of extraterrestrial creatures glimpsed in some enclosure or diorama, background texture in the sprawling menagerie of alien life that populates the Futurama universe. It exists to be seen briefly, maybe grunt or squawk, and remind you the galaxy is full and weird.

The joke is the credit itself — that a show stuffed with hundreds of one-off aliens bothers to number them, and that Maurice LaMarche, a titan of voice work, is game to growl or bleat for a role this fleeting. It's a small wink at how dense and generous Futurama's world-building gets, even in the margins.
