Gwen

Gwen is one of the human survivors living in isolation on Chapek 9, a colony that has been taught to fear and distrust robots above all else. She's warm toward Fry when he and the crew arrive, drawn to him even as the rest of her community reacts with suspicion and alarm toward Bender.

She's a small, functional piece of a satire about propaganda and manufactured fear, and Tress MacNeille gives her just enough guileless sincerity that her attraction to Fry reads as genuine rather than a punchline. The joke is the planet's paranoia; Gwen is the human warmth the episode uses to needle it.
