Gumboil/Automatum/Igneous

Gumboil, Automatum and Igneous are three of the dungeon's stranger inhabitants, each haunting a different chamber the blindfolded dungeoneer must pass through. They speak in riddles, guard thresholds, and test wit as much as courage, part of the parade of oddities that make Knightmare's underground world feel dense with rules only the wise can read.

Edmund Dehn treats each role with the same unshowy conviction, giving throwaway dungeon inhabitants a weight beyond their brief screen time. His voice and bearing shift from character to character, but the theatrical seriousness never wavers, which is exactly what sold young viewers on a low-budget fantasy world as somewhere genuinely strange and dangerous.
