Guard #2

Guard #2 is exactly what the label promises: an anonymous enforcer stationed wherever Futurama's plot needs someone to bar a door, escort a prisoner, or bark an order. He has no name, no arc, and no interest beyond the job in front of him — a uniform with a voice attached, present for a scene and then gone.

The joke is in the credit itself, and Maurice LaMarche, one of the show's great utility players, treats even a nothing part like Guard #2 with full commitment — a gruff, functionary bark that never winks at the audience. It's a small demonstration of how much texture a great voice actor can lend to a role that barely exists on paper.
