Guard #1

Guard #1 is exactly what the credit implies: a nameless, uniformed functionary who turns up wherever Futurama needs someone standing at a gate, checkpoint, or cell block. He follows orders, blocks doors, and exists to be either obeyed or outwitted by whichever main character needs past him.

The joke is the anonymity itself — a show stacked with vividly drawn weirdos still needs a straight-faced nobody to bounce jokes off, and John DiMaggio, already the voice of Bender, slides into these throwaway parts with a gruff, functionary deadpan that makes even one line land.
