Jacob Anderson finds a whole interior life behind a face trained to show nothing, so every flicker of hesitation or warmth lands hard. The writing uses him to ask what's left of a person after a lifetime of conditioning, and his quiet, halting scenes with Missandei are some of the show's gentlest surprises.
