Greg Serrano

Greg tends bar at Home Base in West Covina, the dry, self-deprecating guy Rebecca knew one summer at camp and never forgot. He's smart, underachieving on purpose, and hides behind sarcasm and a beer in hand. When Rebecca turns up in town chasing an old spark, he's flattered, wary, and pretending he isn't either.

The show hands Greg the driest lines in the room and lets Santino Fontana wring real ache out of them—his comic timing makes the self-loathing funny before you notice it's genuine. He's the voice of reason who can't apply his own advice to himself, which is exactly why he's so easy to root for and so frustrating to watch.
