Greg

Greg is Chris's best friend, one of the few white kids at his mostly white school who actually treats him like a person. He's awkward, well-meaning, and a little clueless about the world Chris navigates outside their friendship, but loyal in his own way. He tags along on schemes and rarely questions Chris's plans.

Vincent Martella plays Greg with a genial, oblivious sweetness that works as both comic relief and quiet commentary. The show uses him to expose the casual blind spots of a well-intentioned kid who doesn't have to think about race, which makes their friendship funnier and, at moments, sharper than a simple sidekick pairing would allow.
