In 2018, he resigned, along with several others, from the Justice League as part of a coordinated strategy to circumvent Secretary-General Lex Luthor's political machinations to impose U.N. sanctions on the organization. He joined Batman's new covert group. A few months later, he and the others rejoined the League.
