Greebybobe turns up as one of the many strange, background faces populating the wider Rick and Morty multiverse — a minor alien presence rather than a driver of the plot. He exists mostly to add texture to a scene: odd, offhand, and gone before you can pin down much about him beyond his voice and his weirdness.

Justin Roiland's gift for generating instantly distinct, throwaway aliens is the whole appeal here. Greebybobe works because the show trusts a single strange vocal tic or line delivery to make a background figure memorable, and Roiland's improvisational, slightly unhinged energy turns a nothing character into a small, funny surprise.
