Grand Duchess Izabella

Izabella arrives among the White Russian exiles who circle the Shelby family in the aftermath of revolution, all faded titles and expensive manners. She is elegant, watchful, and clearly used to rooms turning toward her. What she wants is not immediately plain, but she moves through Birmingham's underworld like someone still playing for a throne.

Korzun plays her with a stillness that suggests calculation rather than mere hauteur, so the character reads as dangerous precisely because she never raises her voice. Dropping deposed Russian aristocracy into the Shelbys' grimy Birmingham is a strange, effective collision, and Izabella carries that culture clash with a cool, unbothered grace that makes her hard to read and impossible to dismiss.
