Graham Chase

Graham Chase is Angela's father, a would-be chef stuck managing his in-laws' business and quietly dissatisfied with where his life has landed. He loves his family in a soft, uncertain way, trying to stay involved with a teenage daughter who is pulling away from him daily. He seems steady on the surface, less so underneath.

Tom Irwin plays Graham without a trace of sitcom-dad shorthand — his warmth is real but so is his drift, the sense of a man who once wanted more than this. The show lets his marriage and his own restlessness sit unresolved alongside Angela's, so the parents feel as unfinished as the kids.
