Graeme

Graeme is one-third of the Goodies, the trio who'll do 'anything, anytime' from their ramshackle office. He's the group's boffin — bespectacled, mild-mannered, forever tinkering with some outlandish contraption or scientific scheme that's guaranteed to spiral hilariously out of control. Calm exterior, chaotic ideas.

Garde plays Graeme with a straight-faced reasonableness that makes the absurd inventions funnier by contrast — he never winks at the audience, he just explains the giant kitten or doomsday device as though it's the sensible next step. That deadpan calm anchors the trio's anarchy and lets the visual gags breathe.
