Gilly

Gilly is one of Craster's daughters and wives, living in fearful isolation beyond the Wall. Soft-spoken and skittish around strangers, she is pregnant and desperate to protect her baby from her father's household, where sons vanish without explanation. She watches the Night's Watch recruits with wary hope, unsure whether they represent rescue or just another danger.

Hannah Murray plays Gilly with a stillness that reads as both trauma and quiet intelligence, never overplaying the fear so the moments of nerve land harder. The character avoids easy victimhood; her practicality and small acts of resistance make her feel like a survivor calculating odds rather than a plot device waiting to be saved.
