Ghost of Socrates

In Big Mouth's world of hormone monsters and afterlife oddities, the Ghost of Socrates turns up as a spectral mentor figure, dispensing ancient wisdom filtered through modern crudeness. He postures as a philosopher-guide for confused kids, mixing genuine insight with wild non sequiturs, clearly more interested in being heard than in actually helping anyone.

Jason Mantzoukas brings his usual unhinged energy to a character built entirely on anachronism — a classical philosopher shouting bawdy asides in a show about puberty. The joke writes itself, but Mantzoukas sells it by never softening the character's self-importance, letting the gap between Socratic gravity and adolescent chaos do all the comedic work.
