George W. Bush's Head

One of the many disembodied heads-in-jars populating the 31st century of Futurama, preserved alongside centuries of other politicians and celebrities. He appears in the background of political scenes, a relic of 20th- and 21st-century America kept alive as a curiosity and occasional punchline, offering little more than a face and a name recognized by the audience.

The joke is the premise itself: history's most recognizable figures reduced to talking jars, wheeled out for cameos and forgotten between them. Phil LaMarr's voice work gives the head just enough deadpan dignity to make the sight gag land without overplaying it, which is exactly the right amount of effort for a character built entirely on a single visual pun.
