George H. W. Bush's Head

Preserved in a jar like every other notable figure of the past, George H. W. Bush's disembodied head turns up now and then in the 31st century as a relic of a bygone America, still dryly self-important, still recognizably presidential, and utterly unbothered by having no body to back it up.

The joke is the gap between dignity and indignity — a former leader of the free world reduced to bobbing in preservative fluid, delivered with total deadpan. Billy West plays him straight, which is funnier than mugging would be, and the sight gag itself lands every single time it recurs.
