GeneWorks Woman

She works the counter at GeneWorks, one of Futurama's fleeting corporate faces — brisk, businesslike, and entirely unbothered by whatever bizarre genetic request has just walked through the door. She's there to process the transaction, not to marvel at it, treating cloning or gene-splicing with the same flat professionalism as a bank teller.

Tress MacNeille, one of the show's great utility voices, gives her exactly the deadpan competence Futurama loves: a functionary calmly normalizing the absurd. The joke isn't the character herself but the gap between her mundane customer-service tone and the science-fictional weirdness she's casually facilitating.
