Gay Man

A background face in the crowded future of New New York, this unnamed extra turns up for a beat or two — a quick line, a reaction shot, a punchline delivered and gone. He exists at the edges of the frame, one more citizen of Futurama's teeming, joke-dense world rather than a figure the plot follows.

The pleasure here is entirely vocal: John DiMaggio, already carrying Bender's gravel and swagger elsewhere in the same episode, slips into a completely different register for a throwaway character. It's a small demonstration of range hiding inside a blink-and-miss-it role, the kind of detail that rewards rewatching.
